Logo development, branding and activation work for the first ever McVitie’s National Dunking Championship!
British biscuit maker McVitie’s staged its inaugural ‘National Dunking Championship’ to transform pastime of biscuit dunking into a sport, aiming to bring people together in a competitive showcase of skill and biscuit know how.
The inaugural contest was held in honour of National Biscuit Day (29th May) and saw dunkers from across the nation come together to go head-to-head in a series of ‘dunk offs’.
I was asked to explore a number of concepts for the development of the logo for the McVitie’s National Dunking Championships.
The logo was ultimately used to promote the event in press and in-situ at the venue where it was used as a backdrop to the event and used on branded merchandise.
